About Me

Hi, my name is Aurash Behbahani.  I’m a software engineer in Seattle, and this is my blog!  I’ll post things here about stuff that interests me.

Why do you have a blog?

So, here’s the deal.  I googled myself the other day, because apparently I’m an egomaniac.  The first hit was an article for my college newspaper.  Some reporter asked me if it bothered my that the Burger King on campus was closing.  Seriously?  It’s Burger King, what do I care?  It must have been a slow news week.

In any case, it bothers me that my claim to internet fame is an article about Burger King at CSUS.  So I figure if I post my name enough on this blog, maybe one day that article will move down in the search rankings :).

What does “Digadeesh” mean?

Ah, Digadeesh.  Not much is known about it really.  Famous scholars have searched long and hard to find a definition, only to come up empty… or to go insane.  Their publications, such as Websters Dictionary, proof not of their knowledge of words, but rather proof that they know the definition for all but the most important word.

Few things are known about Digadeesh and its usage:

  • You can use it as a noun, adjective, verb… whatever.
  • You can NOT use it in a negative context.  Digadeesh is for positive, or neutral context only.
  • Digadeesh is fucking cool.
